Exchange programs

One of the main objectives of the Department is to strengthen its international dimension. Concerning education, this objective is pursued through student exchange programs and through agreements that facilitate the mobility of professors and tutors. In particular, the students of the Department may spend periods of time abroad, benefitting not only from the specific LLP and Erasmus exchange programs but also from specific agreements made with international Universities that provide students with the opportunity to obtain, in addition to their Italian degree, an International title of study.

The Department of Law is also part of an innovative and unique teaching project: the Centre for Transnational Legal Studies: situated in the heart of the legal district of London, uniting teachers and students from the most prestigious law schools in the world, the aim of the Centre is to address the most important and current issues in transnational law in a multicultural working environment.

Tenders for the selection of the students eligible to participate in these initiatives are published on the site of the Department in the Tenders section, towards the end of January each year with reference to the following academic year.

Summer and Winter Schools

Regarding Summer and Winter Schools, the Department is active in two ways:

  • Active promotion and participation in the organisation of the LSGL Summer School in partnership with major international Law schools;
  • Identification of some of the Summer Schools organised by other organisations; yearly teacher led verification of the educational aspects and costs to establish the potential value for proposal to students.

Schedules, information and contacts of the active Summer and Winter Schools are available in the International mobility i section .
