Public engagement

Public engagement is a set of activities to put universities in direct interaction with company and not profit associations, providing a contribution that accompanies the traditional missions of teaching and research.

The so-called public engagement can be divided into:

a) public engagement of economic exploitation of the knowledge;

b) public engagement culture and society.

The Department of Law aims to play an active role in the public engagement area to promote a legal culture; projects with the involvement of civil society aims to produce sociocultural effects beyond academia. Actually the  Department current projects are:

- Collaboration with the prison district of Turin

- Training of secondary school teachers

- Project: "Girls and boys: a day at the University"

- Legal clinics

- Campus citizenships
